Usage Example: GnuGk Traversal Zone

Starting with GnuGk 3.0, one internal gatekeeper can tunnel all your internal endpoint out to an external gatekeeper. All firewall ports can remain closed, allowing only outgoing connections.

This so called "traversal zone" will use the H.460.18 and H.460.19 standard.
You can also enable RTP multiplexing, so this tunnel connection will use only 2 ports total for all your calls (in case you even want to disable outgoing connections on most ports).

If you already happen to have a Cisco / Tandberg VCS or other H.460.18/.19 capable gatekeeper, you can also partner with those.
